Knowsley Foodbank

Knowsley Foodbank, run by The Big Help Project, has unfortunately closed due to the charity’s collapse. This closure affects all Food Clubs in the borough, as the Big Help Project was responsible for overseeing them and providing the food supply.

Park Pantry Community Food Club: Located at Eaton Street Park Pavillion, it’s open every Wednesday from 11:30 AM to 1:45 PM. It is a social supermarket where people can purchase around £12-£15 worth of food for £3.50, and it is open to anyone who wants to prevent waste and save money. The pantry is run by the Friends of Eaton Street Park, and they also offer a free tea in the park every Sunday (except in winter).

Friends of Eaton Street Park Community Food Club: This is another option for affordable food in the area.

Prescot Foodbank: Located at the Salvation Army on Warrington Road, it operates on Wednesdays from 12-2 PM.

Knowsley Council: Provides a list of food and household essentials services in the area, including information about food clubs and other support.

Feeding Britain: Works with local partners to develop affordable food clubs and other initiatives to tackle hunger in Knowsley.
