Prescot & Whiston Community Advice Centre
Prescot & Whiston Community Advice Centre provides a free and impartial welfare rights service including benefit advice, assistance with benefit applications and help with Social Security appeal tribunals via pre-booked appointments to those who reside or work in the Borough of Knowsley. We are a registered charity and as such offer a completely free service.
We are a TUC affiliated Welfare Rights Advice Centre based in Prescot Town Centre on Merseyside. We are part of a network of TUC advice centres’ that are located throughout the country.
Our Centre is located within an open-plan multi-agency office above the museum and library in Prescot Shopping Centre. Full disabled access is available. Our office is open Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm (we are closed for lunch between 1-2pm).
Mental Health Project – Our Mental Health Project assists mental health service users to reduce debt and maximise household income. Client’s need to be referred in by their Social Worker, Psychiatric Nurse, Social Prescriber or GP to access the Project. For more information please click on the link at the top of the page.
